Casting: I'm a Model

It just got confirmed, I'm a working Model. March 4 - 6 I will be traveling around Southern California working as a model for Getty Images. More exciting than getting paid for the trip, which is awesome, I will be traveling to Joshua Tree and Idlewild, two places I've really been wanting to visit. If they send me copies of the prints, I'll post some up here, otherwise, I'll try and snap some of the surroundings.

New Member of LA Connection Improv Theatre

I've joined and begun rehearsals with a new Improv Company, LA Connection; this is where Robin Williams began. I had my first rehearsal last night, and, while it's not stellar and mind blowing training right now, I will begin performing with the group at either the end of March or the beginning of April.
Along with tuition, I get cheap tickets for all of the performances. If you would like a pair of tickets, e-mail me, they're not free, but their very cheap.

Work Begins on Blank Music Video and Baby Balloon; silent film

Gears are really turning at Oversaturated Inc. this week and into the next few weeks.
Blank the song featured on the last Music Monday is ready to be mixed down and finalized, and, while that is happening, production has begun on its accompanying music video. This will be my first music video, and I have decided not to make it an easy one. All the live footage is shot and editing has begun. The majority of the work though will be cartoon and animation, which will probably take three or four weeks. I'm expecting to have the video finished in time for the end of March.
Meanwhile, production has begun on Baby Balloon; silent film. I went location scouting today and have decided to shoot it at Griffith Park. Several of the costumes are set, and I hope to have pictures of the set and the costumes up in a few days. Jade Broadus is set to star along side Robert Blasko in this picture. Also, just confirmed, Kat Purgal will also be staring as the Little Girl.
There is alot to look forward to in the coming weeks, so make sure to keep checking back and leave comments.

Cast in Study Abroad Featurette, Turned down Role

I was offered a role in an upcoming featurette being shot at Loyola Marymount College to promote studying abroad. Unfortunately, I'm was not able to accept the role because the film shoots the same weekend as a pre-planned and pre-paid ski trip. However, there is a silver lining. The job did pay, which is a step in the right direction. Every job I work, or am offered to work, that pays, I feel is one step closer to doing this acting thing for real. Also, It is pretty nice to watch a film that I worked on, not be proud of the result, but then find out that someone else wants to work with me so maybe this past film wasn't totally my fault.
I'm really bad at taking compliments, I either: A) don't believe them or B)Already feel that the product is great, so the compliment gives me a huge head and ruins the work. The one compliment I do accept and take to heart is when someone wants to work with me, that the greatest feeling of accomplishment ever.
*Disclaimer*This in now way means not to leave tons of comments or shower me with praise because, no matter the outcome, I love to hear feedback.

The Aftermath has Warner Brothers Screening

Last night I attended a screening of the last film I acted in, The Aftermath; a student film produced by the New York Film Academy. I watched eleven other films in the same category as ours, and I have to say ours was easily at the top of the list. The lead actor of the film was good. I could tell he was going to stand out while working with him. Personally, as for my part, upon leaving the theatre I immediately registered for classes. I will hopefully have some screen shots from the film up in the next few days.

Super Obama Update

The Cartoon posted as the last Friday Flix, Super Obama is reaching 100 views. This is very exciting, and marks the last milestone before the 1,000 view. Who will be the 100 viewer, I have no idea, and probably never will, but if it is you, write me a comment or drop a line.
