K-Town Second Shooting Day

Yesterday I was part of an additional shooting day for K-town, the improv movie I was a part of a few weeks back. Altogether, the shoot was a bit unremarkable; loss of battery power, possible re-shoot, average. However, the location was amazing, the Hollywood resivour. Check out these pictures. This second picture is of the girl playing opposite me in the film. This first picture is the director and film crew trying to fix all the technical difficulties of the shoot. This final shot is the other direction from the shooting location, right underneath the Hollywood sign

Friday Flix!

Welcome to Friday Flix; today we see another attempt by organized crime to get into your pockets. Hope you enjoy the show.

Update: Due to projects becoming longer and more involved, Friday Flix will now be posted every three weeks. The extra time will let me focus on bigger stories while not trying to pump out something in between.

Also, this Monday will be an all new Music Monday.

New Headshots

Alright, my sister/awesome photographer was in town this past week and I managed to convince her to take some new headshots for Jade and Me. We ended up with over 600 between the two of us, so it's taking some time to review them all. I can tell you, we look great in some and ridiculous is others. I'm going to post at top ten or so tonight or tomorrow and then I'll need your help choosing the top three. Think of this as American Idol, but without any movement.

Untitled London Project Web Series

The latest project added to the docket is a season of webisodes written by Jade. I am signed on to direct them as well as play a part. We are still nailing down some final production aspects as far as the shape of the show, but Jade has been working hard on the scripts and they are turning out well. I don't want to give away too much until after we get the first day of shooting out of the way. Hopefully we will start shooting next week.

Mockumentary Shoot

Today I did a quick scene for the previously untitled Mockumentary Project, now tentatively titled K-town. This film seems to be completely improv, and is therefore being shot is chronological order because, I assume, it must change its shooting schedule and location listing in order to follow the story created during each shoot. After the shooting wrap, I was contacted by the producer/director who asked me if I would be available for additional scenes further on in the film. I agreed and am not engaged to return towards the end of the film in a few scenes.
Hopefully I will get some set shoots sent to me in the next few days, which I will then post here.

Casting: Mockumentary

I was cast in a day player role in a film titled, Mockumentary. I don't know much about it beside what I learned at the audition. It seems to be an african-american director taking a look at racism in America today. I was invited to the callbacks for a larger part, but I was out of town. The part, mainly improv, is a man trying to pick-up some asian girls in a bar before their boyfriends show up; based on the audition, I will probably be playing a racist.
It shoots for a couple of hours mid-day Sunday, so we'll see how it goes. I'll try to get some shots from the set.

Flix Friday for 3-14-08

Today we have a special announcement brought to you by someone who needs a favor. With unorganized crime running rampant, it is becoming more difficult for more reputable crime to exist. Please, listen to the Don's pleas. After giving so much to us, don't it deserve something back.

Thanks for checking it out. You can see past Flix Friday by clicking the link at the top of the page, or by visiting this address: http://www.youtube.com/user/bchristian7

Obama Love from Gallatin Seniors

I was just looking over past videos from Friday Flix and discovered that Super Obama was featured on the Gallatin Tennessee Seniors website. I'm flattered. It took me moving far far away for many many moons to be discovered by old people who used to live driving distance away. I'm not so presumptuous to assume they know who I am, nor even care, but they like the work and that's what matters. Way to go Gallatin Seniors!

Lodi Dodi Rap Out

Hello again everyone. Rob has been really busy editing some older videos that we made. This might be the last of them. The video stars me and Chris, and, even though it could be considered a home video, I want to post it because I think I look rough. Warning: This video contains explicit language, it is a rap video sing-along.

This was made by Rob, you can check out more of his videos on youtube under the name FSUSU.

Entourage: The Oath

A few months back my friends, The Entourage, were at The Observatory in Los Angeles and shot an oath. Rob just edited it together and it turned out really well. I'm not sure if this crosses the business/personal line, but I think that doesn't really matter. This will not be posted in the Friday Flix because it is not my production, so check it out while it's here.

If you liked it give Rob props at http://gentleman.tumblr.com/

Getty Image Shoot Cap-Up

Alright, I posted a quick end of the shoot posting last night, but I have alot more pictures and I really want to share more about the trip; so here we go. The first night we drove from Los Angeles to Idllywild, Ca. This is one town that has really no purpose it seems except to one day hope for a huge snowfall. Wait, I forgot to say that we ate lunch at Morongo Casino. Let me say, Morongo...not exactly Vegas, but definitely a Casino. Anyway, back to Idllywild. I wasn't used the first night because we got there really late. The next morning, up at six, I was used in the morning as a Hiker and boyfriend of Marissa (aka Wendy Cooper) and a squirrel. Then we moved to a mountain top and shot a bit up there, I was (officially) used, but I got some shots of myself and the others; then off to another point of the mountain, same situation as before. That night we moved to 29 Palms just outside of Joshua Tree. Having spent two years and some months in LA, seeing the night sky took me by surprise an amazing surprise, and for those of you in my situation, the sky looks just like the Observatory would make you believe. The next day, early morning face shots in the desert near 29 Palms. Then off to Joshua Tree, dead deer, bird, squirrel. The high point, literally and figuratively was climbing one of the mountains. Finally back home. Points of interest on the way to or from Joshua Tree are a west coast Chick-Fil-A and the dinosaurs featured in Pee-Wee's Big Adventure.

Of course I couldn't fit all my photos from this weekend here, Check out the rest at http://www.flickr.com/photos/bchristian/

Getty Images Shoot Finished

Just returned from the Getty Images. I had a great time, and am now really geared up to work all the time. Everyone on the shoot was so much fun; each night I had my own cabin and had a great group of people to work with. I portrayed a hiker, a road-kill deer, two squriel, and a bird.

The offical photos will be posted when I get them, hopefully three months from now, but I'll get headshots of the other actors posted in a few days. I will also, post a more detailed description of the shoot tomorrow. I just wanted to get a few pictures up from the shoot.

I'm a Model Update

I haven't been told anything official, and probably won't until I'm on set doing it, but the costume designer let me onto a few things about the shoot. I will be acting as a bird and a deer. The deer will involve a very big brown sweater and army boots, and the bird will involve skinny black jeans. That's right, I'm going to be modeling as a scene kid. These photos of me in skinny jeans will be my equivalent to horrible 80's style pictures from the generation before me.
